Lab contain errors and you need to guess the error and solve it in order to go ahead with de lab. the link command doesnt have the full path needed. i needed to erase the -1.2 and add devenv to the path of the link

The command for create the symbolic link does not work. This lab has clearly not been tested.

After cloning your repository, I realized that there is no folder developingapps-v1.2 inside courses. There is a folder named developingapps, but I was not able to execute the mvn clean operation since there is no POM there.
