the cloned directory was different from the directory used in the tutorial, I was able to locate the necessary files but it took some digging

Even though I created a soft link, I got an error when I tried to cd into it. I then cd into the folder by using its name and when I ran mvn clean install I got an error and was not able to complete the lab. Will try again later.

The right path is /training-data-analyst/courses/developingapps/v1.2/java/devenv

I create: "ln -s ~/training-data-analyst/courses/developingapps-v1.2/java ~/devenv" Then I can't get into the "~/devenv" and can't get further in the lab. D:

the shortcut for the folder is wrong instead of -v1.2 should be /v1.2 then /dava/devenv ~devenv cheers.

This lab must seriously be revised. The command "ln -s ~/training-data-analyst/courses/developingapps-v1.2/java ~/devenv" does not work properly! Instead, it should be "ln -s ~/training-data-analyst/courses/developingapps/v1.2/java ~/devenv" The difference lies in replacing "-" (dash) with "/" (forward slash) between "developingapps" and "v1.2". Then, when I tried to run "mvn clean install", it was not possible because the directory I was in (~/devenv) did not contain the "pom.xml file". I don't know if it was because of running the "ln" command several times, but I guess it may be due to the folders structure. I had to navigate into ~/devenv/devenv in order to find the "pom.xml" file. Finally, I believe that the accepted answer for the final quizz named "Test your understanding" is wrong. The question is: "Which one of the following protocol-port combination is responsible for allowing HTTP traffic?" The accepted answer is "tcp:80", but I think it should be "http:80"

This line : ln -s ~/training-data-analyst/courses/developingapps-v1.2/java ~/devenv should have been: ln -s ~/training-data-analyst/courses/developingapps/java/devenv ~/devenv
