mvn clean install failed because the vm only had java 8, & mvn exec:java@list-gce threw nullpointerexception

The VM doesn't has a jdk but a jre, you hava to install it and configure the environment variable. There is no problem with that, but the instructions asume there is a jdk because "mvn clean install" needs a compiler.

default os is debian 9. I use this os and bug everything. So I noticed that in mvc -version you use debian 10. then I change to debain 10. It's work. I wasted my time for 2 hrs for default os that you told me. So pls change document. Thanks

JAVA package installed by default is 8 but everything within lab is set to 11. I had to install java 11 and then the lab worked
