The lab is broken because of Java 8 dependencies. The pom.xml had to be updated to Java v11 and springboot to 2.1.14

In the instructions, we have Java 8 version but in GCP we have Java 11 and Due to the JDK problem, I couldn't finish my lab I tried using Java 11 instead — but I was having problems so please help me to resolve this issue
