Extremely frustrating. Log browser has changed a lot since lab was written (not only legacy log browser, but also names on the dropdowns. Eg there is no longer a "GCE VM Instance", it's just "VM Instance"). Logs take quite a while to show up, so it is impossible to know if you've done something wrong or just need to wait for 10 more minutes. BigQuery UI also doesn't refresh properly (more GCP's fault than yours, though), so tables that exist don't always show up.
