The instructions are incorrect. The Stackdriver Monitoring Dashboard will not contain the GCE VM metric as Project 1 has not been added to the Dashboard. It is missing a step on how to configure the dashboard to obtain the other 2 projects as resources that can be monitored.

Specific issue with Task 8. If 3rd GCP project is used, then either explicitly for monitoring other projects have to be added or another project id is to be used. Otherwise - the GCE instances does not get listed when trying to add charts ( wouldn't since there were no VM instances created in the 3rd project)
