debian version 10 is already oldstable - would be preferrable an updated version. Pip and python should not be executed in the root context, creates bad behaviour. User should (or prepared) with limited sudo rules and not just plain root access

The lab is nonsense, the credentials can be pulled from the metadata server without having to specify the SAccount :-(
