The creation of the privatenet-bastion instance did not complete even after some time and the creation of other instances afterwards. The console allowed me to select "delete" and I also tried to delete the instance from the command line but neither seemed to have any effect. Since the bastion host did not seem to feature in the lab, it does not seem to have actually been a problem though.

Good Thing: Chome crashed and lab came back completely! None of my work was lost! Awesome work there! Weird thing: GCP: when I deleted the default network, I got the error message "The deletion of the network failed. Error: Request failed with unknown error". Without doing anything, it completed the deletion -- very weird. The terminology on Priority seems backward to me: One would think HIgher Priority means, "done before Lower Priority". It is the reverse in this lab. I don't know how other vendors (Cisco) do their terminology on firewall rule priorities. This just seems backward and weird.
