I created the app viewer role as per instructions and was able to see the role in the list when I listed roles in cloud shell. However, the role never showed up in the roles list in the console. Not sure why that is. I checked and double-checked multiple times. I could list it via a command in cloud shell but not find it in the list of IAM roles in the UI. I could find privacy reviewer ok.

Not sure why that is. However everything was working as expected beyond this visual glitch. I wish you support folks on chat were able to help in real-time. They aren't. That said, the lab did serve the purpose - i.e. give me a feel for how IAM works.
