Took some time for many of the logs to showup which made me question if I was doing something incorrectly. Also the logName="projects/PROJECT_ID/logs/compute.googleapis.com%2Fvpc_flows" like never showed when converting to advanced filter. Had to add it each time.

Some instructions could be supplemented with screenshots and not clear had to repeat twice as must have made mistake in previous setup.
