The BigQuery table does not contain the fields jsonPayLoad. The generic table name is changed for the dataset from compute to cloudaudit #standardSQL SELECT >>>>>>>jsonPayload.dest_instance, resource FROM `flowlogs_dataset.[>>>>compute<<<<]_googleapis_com_vpc_flows_*` WHERE >>>>>jsonPayload.connection.dest_port = 22 LIMIT 1000

For some reason the pasted bq query gave me an error for the json payload item. Deleting, and then inserting it from the schema list, it stopped giving the error and finally ran.
