Task 3 step 4: The managementnet-us-vm and privatenet-us-vm vms did not have an external ip listed in the gcp web ui, but they were reported by gcloud compute instances list. Clicking the console’s refresh button did not make them appear, even after waiting. They did show up when duplicating the tab or refreshing the page.

I could figure out why I wasn't able to "check my progress" and get to 30/30, so it was a bit frustrating. I was typing the commands and mis-typed the name of the subnets ... so had to recreate them. This still did not show full progress though.
