The script located at https://storage.googleapis.com/cloud-training/gcpnet/httplb/startup.sh does not have sudo at the beginning of the command lines. Therefore, apt-get and other commands required cannot be executed and every instance created based on the template the uses that startup script in its metadata failed to install apache and run the modified page. I learned a lot from this lab, but the sudo issue caused me to waste a lot of time trying to figure out what is wrong.
