There is an error in the lab instructions as a result of the updates to the GC console. Under 'Copy image files into your bucket', step 7 'Refresh bucket' does not work as Public access is being actively prevented. To change this, add the following step: click on the Permissions tab, and select 'Remove Public Access Prevention' under the Public access pane.

Can't make the bucket public, error below ! The member bindings allUsers and allAuthenticatedUsers are not allowed since public access prevention is enforced.

when trying to use cloud shell to change permissions on the files i keep receiving the error that public sharing is blocked. found that i had to include a step of going to the permissions tab and removing the block to public sharing
