I finish the lab but second check always fail so I remove the VM "example instance" and re create it using Gcloud and it give me the points. Use the following gcloud command: https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/instances/startup-scripts/linux#passing-storage

The issue is now fixed but why restrict the name of the VM instance to a specific name? The file for the script was also different from the download file.

i can access the apache webpage on http as required, but the last checkpoint does not validate... :-(
