Two curve balls here ... 1. When I logged in, I got signed into the wrong project for some reason. There appear to be two projects on this account: "qwiklabs-gcp-04-4f655b24c3a4" & "Google Cloud Shell" ??? Very strange. Whatever the case, it meant that my Cloud Shell environment was not setup correctly and I had to configure it manually before I could init the App Engine. 2. When performing the `cloud app deploy`, it failed with the error: ``` Beginning deployment of service [default]... Created .gcloudignore file. See `gcloud topic gcloudignore` for details. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗╠═ Uploading 750 files to Google Cloud Storage ═╣ ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ File upload done. ERROR: (gcloud.app.deploy) NOT_FOUND: Unable to retrieve P4SA: [service-401597288553@gcp-gae-service.iam.gserviceaccount.com] from GAIA. Could be GAIA propagation delay or request from deleted apps. ``` Thankfully, I ran the same cmd again and it succeeded so I could finish the lab. All-in-all, 20 mins was not a very generous allocation for this. I could see how some less advanced students could get very lost.
