The video demonstration and the lab did barely have anything in common. There were several additional steps necessary to get the python app running in cloud shell... Also the deployment in the app-engine from cloud shell first resulted in an error for me. The instructions contained a message in order to recover from that, but having a simple deployment like this run into an error does not result in trusting deployments to app engine....
