From Step 6 Onwards, the tutorial instructions were inaccurate. There was no directory under var called www, and the service for apach2 could not be restarted since it could not be found.

All worked - NOTE on a UI change in Mysql wizard: "For Choose a Cloud SQL edition, click Enterprise, and for Edition preset select Sandbox from the dropdown" No can do -must scroll down under Get Started, select MySQL and then click the "Create Sandbox instance" instead.

Had to restart the bloghost VM for it to actually generate the /var/www/html folder - I don't think the startup script worked - made no changes other than simply restarting the VM from the VM instance menu (ignored warnings of data corruption because sandbox)
