The lab was fine, but the second check can't be completed due to the create now resulting in a service and pod but no deployment. Seems related to this commit - https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/training-data-analyst/commit/0a2453ab0b7fae4660ac0f45e7365efcfe9469f4

Good exercise solidify previous knowledge on kubectl commands and deployments/services/pods as well. It was very insightful to have a LoadBalancer kind of deployment to automatically pick up the defined service and respective pod.

didn't quite get the "restarting pods" result. Once the file used by the readiness probe was touched, the pod (singular!) remained stable.

Although I runned this, "check my Progress" shows "not done" even after a while... I waited multiple minutes. fyi, this is missing in instructions: kubectl create -f readiness-service.yaml
