Step 24 should be before step 22 because you can't delete your email while it is referenced in an uptime check.

Steps 22 and 24 are out of order. If you attempt to delete the email notification channel, you get an error stating that it is still tied to a project. Deleting the uptime check and then the email notification channel worked though.
