In the VM creation task it read, literally: "Change the region to someplace other than us-east1 (the App Engine app is in us-east1). Accept all the rest of the defaults and click Create." Actually, it's impossible to complete the lab without creating the VM in the very *us-east1* region, although the instructions are to create it in *someplace other than us-east1*. Has anyone even ever proofread these instructions? Try to imagine how fucking annoying is trying to guess this.
