I had an issue connecting via SSH at the beginning where the instance showed a “Permission denied (publickey)” error when using IAP tunneling. I was able to resolve it by disabling OS Login metadata on the VM (setting enable-oslogin=FALSE) and retrying the SSH command. After that, the connection worked correctly. It might be helpful to clarify this step in the lab instructions since it can be confusing for first-time users.
