Cloud Storage Reviews

The customer-supplied keys section did not work. The files would not upload with the customer-supplied key. I found a replacement gcloud command which allowed me to upload the files and in the console I could see they changed from "google managed" to "customer supplied" for the keys. The problem then was the lab assessment wouldn't verify the keys were correct so I could not get the points.

I am on Task 3 of the lab. My files setup2.html and setup3.html are successfully uploaded and clearly show 'Customer-supplied key' in my console, but the 'Check my progress' button is glitched and failing to validate.

The lab is bugged and claim that you can create your bucket with your own unique name as long as part of the project id is added to it. This is false as the bucket name has to be exactly your project id. Also , the csek generated does not get copied to the Boto file and remains google managed. Please review this task as it ended up causing me several restarts to figure out the issue which is unfair and timewasting.

For some reason the step : Upload the remaining setup files (encrypted) and verify in the Cloud Console did not work .. I tried again and it is impossible to check out : Customer-supplied encryption keys (CSEK) Please create Cloud Storage bucket and upload files in bucket using Customer-supplied encryption keys.

I made the required changes in Task 3 using gcloud commands, but the encryption type for setup2.html and setup3.html did not update. When I switched to using gsutil, the encryption type correctly changed to customer-supplied. However, the “Check my progress” step is still not updating. Could you please suggest the correct approach to complete this task successfully? Thank you in advance.
