The instruction needs to be updated. When executing the job, I received a message, "job is not using streaming engine". After re-creating the pipeline job by enabling the "Streaming Engine", the job executed successfully and I was able to see the data when running SQL in BigQuery. Also, I suggest you update the instruction by adding the final output of the time series chart.

This lab was horrible. There wasn't enough time to actually try to understand what I'm doing; instead, I was forced to rush through it. It needs to be increased to at least 1.5 hours. The instructions were not up-to-date either in some sections, which made it even harder. Lastly, the instructions weren't clear enough in some sections as the GCP UI has so many buttons and links to click. The instructions would benefit greatly from having pictures of the location of certain buttons.

It did not work before because there are two templates that are named, "Cloud Storage Text to BigQuery (Stream)", and they are two different templates.

I couldn't get my pipeline to run in the region specified in the instructions. I was running out of time so I decided to try it with the default region (I think us-central1?) and that worked. Also, I know this was just an intro into Looker, but that part of the lab felt very rushed and didn't really explain why were doing each step.
