This lab was very frustrating to complete. First, the instructions are inconsistent between languages. The Japanese instructions still say to use Debian 11, while the English version specifies Debian 12. Because the grading system appears to follow the English version, the lab check fails if you follow the Japanese instructions. Second, the lab requires a large number of repetitive steps in the console, but no CLI commands are provided. For tasks like creating networks, routers, VPN tunnels, and VM instances, it would be much more efficient if the lab also included the equivalent gcloud commands. Repeating the same configuration through the UI many times makes the lab unnecessarily time-consuming. Overall, the mismatch in instructions and the heavy reliance on repetitive UI steps made this lab much more frustrating than it needed to be.
