If you get stuck on Task 4 like I did use the following code to enable the API instead. Good luck! PROJECT=[[YOUR-PROJECT]] SERVICE="basic-express-api-1yy1jgrw4nwy2.apigateway.chrome-courage-336400.cloud.goog" gcloud services enable ${SERVICE} \ --project=${PROJECT}

Update, finally able to end lab but to finish the last step I had to enable services manually : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/70523278/gcp-api-gateway-returning-403-saying-managed-service-is-not-enabled-for-the-pro , searching the created services was not working properly

I created the API Gateway and clicked on Check my progress. The box wouldn't validate even though I could complete the next steps. Annoying as I have to redo this again. made some progression second time around. this time I can't check my progress on "Securing Access by using an API key"
