There is an error in this lab. What you are refering to as "euclidean distance" is not really euclidean distance, you are treating longitude and latitude like they were coordinates on orthogonal coordinate system, but THEY ARE CERTAIN ANGLES ON ELLIPSOID. If you want to calculate distance between two points on ellipsoid using latitude and longitede, use Vincenty's formulae https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincenty%27s_formulae Other than that, really well done lab, I understood everything and it was presented very well.
