The lab had an error in it with the already provided code. Could not finish the lab. Tried to use the example .py file but that too showed the same error. Reported it on Chat to Nimish N. He said he would send me back what he found out to me: pete@newcooldiscoveries.io so I can finish this lab and course.

It's no longer possible to create k8s clusters with version 1.18. I created one with 1.19 and everything worked.

The lab instructions are now obsolete due to changes in the GKE security model. Please update instructions and sample notebook.

This lab have some issues, while working on the lab a lot of steps are not working and giving errors. Please look into it, I already attempt it 3 times. I don't know, how I will I get a certificate of this course without completing this. Its really a very bad experience. Here is one of the error gcloud container clusters create cluster-1 --zone us-central1-a --cluster-version 1.18.20 --machine-type n1-standard-2 --enable-basic-auth --scopes=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform WARNING: Warning: basic authentication is deprecated, and will be removed in GKE control plane versions 1.19 and newer. For a list of recommended authentication methods, see: https://cloud.google.com/kubernetes-engine/docs/how-to/api-server-authentication WARNING: Currently VPC-native is the default mode during cluster creation for versions greater than 1.21.0-gke.1500. To create advanced routes based clusters, please pass the `--no-enable-ip-alias` flag WARNING: Starting with version 1.18, clusters will have shielded GKE nodes by default. WARNING: Your Pod address range (`--cluster-ipv4-cidr`) can accommodate at most 1008 node(s). ERROR: (gcloud.container.clusters.create) ResponseError: code=400, message=No valid versions with the prefix "1.18.20" found. Please fix it and give me another chance to complete it.

needs updating - notebooks are still not under vertaix, and cli cluster creating needs a different version not the 1.18.x

Issues with cluster-version 1.18.20 Task 2, part 2. After a work around by creating the cluster from the AI platform I met another problem in the Notebook section. The ARTIFACT_STORE = 'gs://qwiklabs-gcp-02-c1f81f9d53d6-kubeflowpipelines-default' did not work. So I could not store the traning and validation datasets.
