The instructions are outdated. On Task 2, if you use the command line given for creating the cluster, you get an error that cluster-version 1.18.20 is not installed. A large part of my clock time was spent trying to troubleshoot this. I managed to find the list of versions available on zone us-central1-a (valid versions available: 1.22.2 & 1.21.5). However, you cannot run these in basic-auth mode (anything greater than version 1.19 needs different authorization, so "--enable-basic-auth" has to be removed from the create cluster command line.
