Problem with "Check that the blog instance is authroized to access Cloud SQL". IP was added to Authorized Networks, but the "Run Step" popup said it was also missing the IP of the lab-monitor. However, adding that IP to Authorized Networks didn't solve that. Everything worked nonetheless.
