This lab is bad. Before doing anything opening the external ip of the blog VM only shows an error in the browser. Further I had to attempt the lab twice and got my credits deducted after i tried to complete task 1 by clicking in the ui and just keeping defaults. I.e. i changed type to premium, selected the zone but left everything als as default values. This meant storage of 100gb and a machine type that was larger. I had to select the development or sandbox preset to select the zone as per lab instructions. Choosing development i left every other option as default and that made the lab terminate claiming i was not following instructions. Collecting my 7 credits and threatening account termination. So i had to google for a solution and chose to write an email to the support of google skills. They provided me with instructions to to use the cloud console and use this command: gcloud sql instances create wordpress --tier=db-n1-standard-1 --activation-policy=ALWAYS --zone $ZONE Guys, how on earth cloud i have known that the machine type db-n1-standard-1 would be required here. Googles own cloud SQL pricing page is not even stating that this machine type exists. Unless I get that information from some sort of guide it is impossible for me to guess that. Even googling for machine types for cloud sql does not even result in finding a list form an official google website that has this machine type on it.
