In this scenario, you're handed an incomplete update. That isn't clear from the instructions. There seems to be 1001 ways to update. No typical resources I find on the web explain it in a way that works for me. I had to read between the lines and use diagnostics to complete this lab. It's taken numerous times running this lab to complete it. It's very frustrating having to experiment with GCP idiosyncrasies to learn. And yet, it's doable. As a student, I would have understood the scenario better if just the Dockerfile and code were supplied as from DEV team, and one had to figure out the rest from GCP resources, instead of being given unchanged deployment resources from DEVs too.

There are 1001 ways this stuff can be done. No typical resources I find on the web explain it in a way that works here. This lab needs to refer to an authorative source that explains the steps, in order for this to be a learning challenge. Right now, it just confirms ignorance that one likely already knows if one is a student..
