I recently completed the "Build and Deploy a Docker Image to a Kubernetes Cluster: Challenge Lab" on Cloud Skill Boost, which was a rewarding and challenging experience. This lab required me to independently apply my skills to download a sample Go application, build and tag a Docker image, push it to the Google Container Registry, and deploy it on a Kubernetes cluster. By creating and configuring a Kubernetes cluster and deploying the application, I gained hands-on experience in containerization, Docker image management, and Kubernetes orchestration. This lab significantly enhanced my practical knowledge and readiness for managing containerized applications on Google Cloud.
