Additional Tips: 1. Check if TCP:3389 is allowed in YOUR computer. 2. You can execute the ff: command to enable display and get screenshots; where you can verify if the instance is already up and running before 'RDP'ing. gcloud compute instances update vm-bastionhost --enable-display-device 3. Consider adding RDP Outbound Rule/Egress if still having error.

Warning: be careful to create your bastion vm with first Nic using securenetwork (the one who allow RDP) and default as second. I know it's exactly what they say, but if you create both nic correctly by default is the first one, it does NOT work. For the windows newbees, to install IIS you need to search control panel / programs turn on new windows feature then next until you get a list of services and select Web ... (IIS) then next ... install !
