This lab has multiple issues. 1. The grader didn't pick up on a custom VPC created in USwest3 which I suspect is due to a unstated need for the VPC to be created in a specific region. 2. The instructions describe a bastion host that bridges multiple VPC's which generally would be a bad practice. 3. Typically a bastion host only requires a single network interface with an external range and then the secure host would sit in a separate subnet within the VPC with a firewall that restricts the source for RDP/SSH from the bastion network only. https://cloud.google.com/solutions/connecting-securely#bastion 4. It is unclear what is achieved by the installation of IIS here since the secure host has internal only connections. I suspect this was intended to instead be an internal and external connection with no RDP access on the external connection.
