The instruction loses some information. Because the VMs should be in us-central1, if you already create a subnet in other region, it can't be used. (not mentioned until you met it) It also requires you have a RDP software. Cloud Shell does not have it. And all the other tasks are done, but the fourth (bastion host) checkpoint is failed. Although it requires you jump into the bastion and jump to the secure VM, the fourth checkpoint should be green.
