Done - HPA was fine but VPA was throwing some error when applying configuration.

Attempt to create a new node pool as part of task 1 fails with the following error: "ERROR: (gcloud.beta.container.node-pools.create) ResponseError: code=403, message=Insufficient regional quota to satisfy request: resource "SSD_TOTAL_GB": request requires '100.0' and is short '100.0'. project has a quota of '500.0' with '0.0' available. View and manage quotas at https://console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/quotas?usage=USED&project=qwiklabs-gcp-03-819f3bb29e11." And I couldn't change the project quotas (obviously)! So it's not possible to do this lab with the current setup :-(
