Buggy lab. Apply frontend update did not check out despite being applied successfully. Had to enforce it by editing YAML with invalid value "always" to error out, then correct it back to "Always" and save YAML.

Could get through this time with support's help. Seems that the crucial info on using specifically **us-central1-a** as the zone for the cluster is missing. Very educational lab otherwise.
