It took several login attempts before the environment was working correctly. The first two times the cloud shell was completely unresponsive. I also got a strange error about not accepting terms and conditions the first time and I'm certain it was marked "yes" to accept.

It was good. The watch step in the task 7 did not show any host output till 15+ minutes. But in the end curl could resolve the nginx ip.
