my external up for the load balancer would only return a 502 error. I dont know if this is an outdated lab or if google is having issues. otherwise my loadbalancer still worked, i was able to spin up 6 instances. I wish the tutorial explained the the command we typed in to hit the webserver.

The instance group handled the loading without having to scale up the number of instances! But the principles were clear nonetheless.
