I have no way to know what exactly is missing in the last step which complain that I only gain 5 points and not finish all the steps. horrible.

I was finally able to finish this one. To everyone who is also having problems with FlowLogs - check if you have 'compute.googleapis.com/vpc_flows' or 'compute.googleapis.com%2Fvpc_flows' in Query preview. In my case, it worked with the latter.
