Lab: Develop Serverless Apps with Firebase (challenge lab). Tasks 5 and 6 fail with "Deploy the staging/production frontend service using the correct cloud run service", despite the deployed environment matching the lab specification. Verified state: Cloud Run services frontend-staging-service and frontend-production-service exist and serve HTTP 200 to anonymous requests (allUsers bound to roles/run.invoker). Both deployed in us-west1. The project's constraints/gcp.resourceLocations org policy rejects any other region, so no alternative placement is possible. Images frontend-staging:0.1 and frontend-production:0.1, tried in both Artifact Registry (us-west1-docker.pkg.dev/<project>/rest-api-repo/) and Container Registry (gcr.io/<project>/). Both deployed with --max-instances=1 and --allow-unauthenticated. The served app.js on both frontends references the REST API: https://netflix-dataset-service-....run.app/2020. netflix-dataset-service returns live Firestore data — curl $SERVICE_URL/2020 returns the expected JSON with real Netflix records. Task 3 passed. Pattern: Tasks 1–4 all pass (Firestore database creation, CSV import, and both REST API revisions, including netflix-dataset-service deployed to Cloud Run in the same region). Only Tasks 5 and 6 fail. Since Task 3 grades a Cloud Run service in us-west1 successfully, the project, region and Cloud Run deployment method are demonstrably acceptable to the grading system — the failure is specific to the two frontend service checks.
