I recently completed the "Implement Cloud Security Fundamentals on Google Cloud: Challenge Lab," which was a valuable experience. This hands-on lab provided an excellent opportunity to apply my knowledge of cloud security in a real-world scenario. I successfully created and configured a private Kubernetes Engine cluster, ensuring it adhered to security standards, including setting up custom IAM roles and a dedicated service account with least privilege access. Additionally, I tested the cluster by deploying an application, validating that management access and deployment functions were working correctly. The challenge lab effectively tested my ability to implement security best practices and troubleshoot issues, reinforcing my skills in cloud security and Kubernetes.
