I had to install git during the lab

There was no git installed on the server, so step 1 fails. Will restart and manually install git Manually restarted it, and sudo apt install git was hanging on triggers for man-db...had to kill the install, rm -rf /usr/share/man/* reconfig dpkg then run the install again, and it worked.
