It has an errorin Task 1. I tried using create table with DDL (create and replace table partition by ... as select * from table) but it didn't copy any records.

when i create the partition table, dont fill with information with this query CREATE OR REPLACE TABLE covid_279.oxford_policy_tracker_986 PARTITION BY date OPTIONS( partition_expiration_days=360, description="oxford_policy_tracker table" ) AS SELECT * FROM `bigquery-public-data.covid19_govt_response.oxford_policy_tracker` WHERE alpha_3_code NOT IN ('GBR', 'BRA', 'CAN','USA')

I created a table based on the schema, but the data did not import correctly, and then the second step said that I didn't even have a table, though it was obviously there.

The lab isn't working. Try it and see for yourself.

You can't create a table with partition_expiration_days=360, because all records are older than that and the table is empty

I was informed through chat that there are issues with this lab and that I would notified when fixed. I would expect when this is the case that a notice would be placed on the lab so as not to waste our time.
