The BigQuery ML workflow itself is useful and the challenge lab covers a relevant create/evaluate/improve/predict pattern. However, one checkpoint appeared to require a very specific query shape rather than accepting semantically valid ML.EVALUATE queries. This made the lab feel more like matching a hidden validator pattern than demonstrating understanding. Better outcome-based scoring would make the lab much stronger.
