I am extremely frustrated with the validation script for "Task 3: Improve model performance with Feature Engineering." I have successfully created the improved_customer_classification_model using all required features (checkout progress via action_type, traffic source, device category, and country). I have also successfully evaluated the model using ML.EVALUATE on the out-of-sample data (20170501 to 20170630), confirming a higher roc_auc compared to the original model. Despite following every technical requirement perfectly and achieving the intended outcome, the "Check my progress" button consistently fails. The validation is far too brittle and does not account for standard SQL variations or proper model evaluation workflows. It is wasting learners' time by forcing them to guess a specific, undocumented syntax rather than focusing on the machine learning concepts.
