The following commands are incompatible: sudo apt-get remove -y --purge man-db sudo touch /var/lib/man-db/auto-update Issue: --purge deletes the /var/lib/man-db/ directory, causing the touch command to fail with "No such file or directory". Fix: Either remove --purge flag or add sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/man-db between the two commands.
