Watiing for things like the load balancer took much longer than expected. The health/unhealthy displays in the UI don't seem to match the behavior of the load balancer. There seems to be a lot of lag in the behavior of those items.

ELB never got out of "initial" status while registering the targets

Very clearly written but... Near beginning... Instructions didn't say anything to do under the Listeners Section. Configure Security Settings section gave a warning, "Improve your load balancer's security. Your load balancer is not using any secure listner..." But instructions said nothing about getting this warning. Not that it matters, but MyELBTargeGroup should probably be MyELBTargetGroup
