the name of the security group was incorrect. I only saw one that started with "qls" so assumed that was the one.

I was able to follow the steps and created instances, but the final step of displaying the load balancers in the website failed. It only showed a sentence "a test website". Maybe showing a screenshot of what to expect will be helpful.
